Freelance presenter/reporter with the BBC’s Disabilities Programme Unit, working on “One in Four” and then long running magazine show “From The Edge” and late night show “Over The Edge”, covering topics as varied as Water Ski-ing for wheelchair users, the Victorian attitude towards disability and how it affects the way society sees disability today, the mistreatment of the severely disabled by careers, regular updates on benefits for disabled people, sexuality (both heterosexual and homosexual) and the disabled, language – the media – and disability, Scuba Diving, and doctors switching mercy killing disabled patients without requests from the patient (i.e. murder)

Freelance co-presenter on CBBC’s kids poetry show “Wham, Bam, Strawberry Jam” with Rik Mayall

Freelance presenter on Channel 4’s Emmy award winning children’s show “Beat That”, a weekly challenge show that was the first program on British TV to feature mixed ability children as contestants. I also won an Emmy and was voted “European Children’s TV Presenter of the Year 1992”

Freelance presenter for Channel 4’s youth show’s Survivors Guide and Sex Talk. Writer and producer on episode of Sex Talk “Willing and Able”

Co-presenter of the Thames Help Roadshow, a campaigning program dealing with various green issues.

Plus presenter/reporter on items for Radio 4 and 5, Central TV, Meridian TV, Carlton TV, and other regional stations, presenter on various training video’s (including the new Scope guide to the correct use of language by the media when covering items concerning disabled people, Co-presenter for 48 hours straight on the 1992 ITV Telethon (all live), written music for TV programs, adverts and jingles, voiced over TV shows, TV trailers and adverts, modelled in magazines, newspapers, poster campaigns and on catwalk, spoke and chaired various conferences, campaigned on behalf of various charities and causes, fronted, written music for and managed various rock bands, toured with Gary Numan, Dj-ed at Club UK as well as other club nights and run my own successful club night for over two years.

The infamous never shown DPU version of Shakespeare’s classic, a six month shoot that ended with the film never being shown

Plus various featured extra roles in both feature film and TV series, such as Preaching to the Perverted, Talk, and Casualty plus appeared with my girlfriend in a Channel 4 ident. Ceased extras work in 2000.

Carried out Access Audits and design services for companies such as Ministry of Sound, Koko Nightclub, Camden, Church of England Exhibition Services, and am currently working with various Access Forums ensuring planning applications are fully DDA compliant and disabled friendly and am forming a Camden Access Forum.

Creating an interactive website aimed at Architechs and Designers allowing them to explore accessible design online, and experience examples of good, bad and indifferent design.

Working on a travel website, with an emphasis on alternative travel for all, but with information for disabled travellers.
